OUR PURPOSE

Many churches would love to preach the gospel where our medical missionaries are located, but due to the pandemic, inflation and rising crime, travel is very difficult. Our global network of village doctors desperately need medical equipment. Telemed came up with a solution that is a win-win for both churches and our medical missionaries. Our mission is to implement sustainable solutions that provide ongoing healthcare to the poor, sick and the suffering.

As a Pastor or Missions Director, you probably know that the two most influential people in a village are the chief and the village doctor. Our network includes more than 1,000 medical missionaries who are working in war zones, disaster areas, refugee camps, orphanages, urban slums and remote villages. These medical professionals are able to call their entire village together for weekly Bible studies with you and with our tools, you can transform lives without ever having to leave the United States.

When you sponsor a medical missionary, the medical professional will have the ability to provide advanced health care using top of the line medical equipment from their TelemedToolbox to bring healing to those in their community in the name of Jesus. Then, they will gather their patients together around the large screen telemed-tablet so that you can teach the people of the village the Gospel and plant churches all through video calls. These medical missionaries can also serve as your helpers baptizing new believers and administering communion while you teach. You will also be able to livestream these events on your overhead projectors at your church in order for your entire congregation to engage with the Great Commission Christ has called us all to fulfill.
